Tom is called out on a late night mission to rescue a heavy-set indoor cat named Earl, who was chased up on a tree by a neighbour's dog; Shaun travels to La Conner to rescue Play-Play.

Shaun battles high winds to get a lovable cat named Tigger back down to his family once again; Tom comes to the rescue of Fritter, who seems friendly at first, but turns on a dime, putting Tom face to face with a hostile cat.

Shaun learns the hard way that Cake isn't as sweet as his name implies when he tries to reunite this skittish cat with its owners; in Burien, Tom rescues a cat that refuses to let go of him.
