The Lover’s Lies

Tong Si Ji (Jia Qing), a resilient young woman who has struggled to support her younger siblings after losing her parents, works multiple jobs to survive. While employed at the Yuan Xian Department Store, she meets Yi Yi (Zhang Xiao Long), the store owner's son, and they fall deeply in love. However, Yi Yi's mother vehemently opposes their relationship upon discovering Si Ji's background, using her power and influence to separate the couple. Despite the obstacles, Si Ji and Yi Yi must fight for their love and overcome the social barriers that threaten to keep them apart. This is a 2016 Chinese romantic drama directed by Yu Zhong He Lin Hong Jie, a sister production to the popular 2015 drama "The Wife's Lies".
