Caronte

Caronte leaves Gijón to help with Javier Sáez's defense in Madrid, returning to his family home in the Manzanares neighborhood; upon arrival, he is confronted by his son whom he has not seen in a decade.

Caronte is asked to take on the case of a man accused of drowning his daughter; he receives some assistance from a former colleague and a friend from the precinct.

Caronte learns that Jorge López has escaped from prison; later, an old friend from prison comes knocking at his door seeking help with family visitations.

Caronte is trying to keep his chin up when Marta comes to him with a new investigation involving a pensioner who is accused of a stabbing someone.

Natalia returns to Gijón; Caronte takes on a new case involving a sex worker who is accused of murdering her client; Aurelio discovers the firearm that killed Jorge was taken from the Russian mob.

Caronte's sister is attacked by her husband, Rodrigo, who subsequently flees; he puts her and her daughter into his home and guides her through the prosecution process, despite coming up against an aggressive judge.
