El Príncipe

Set in the conflictive border neighbourhood of El Príncipe, in Ceuta’s city, the series starts when a young and overqualified agent of the CNI Javier Morey comes in with the secret mission of infiltrating as the new chief inspector in the neighbourhood’s police station, suspecting that some of the local agents might be collaborating with Muslim extremist cells. There, awaits Fran, a veteran policeman who tries to keep peace in the neighbourhood using dubious methods. As he goes deep into the world of El Príncipe, Morey will meet Fátima, a Muslim teacher, sister of the most important drug dealer of the area and of a teenage boy who went missing months ago and whom the girl is determined to find despite the apparent indifference of the police for the case. Even though at the beginning Morey will try to gain Fátima as an informer, he will not be able to help feeling more and more attraction for her, which could endanger the mission and even his own life.
