Conflict is a Finnish-American TV miniseries with six-part television series directed by Finnish Aku Louhimies. It began airing on November 30, 2024 on the MTV3 television channel and on the MTV Katsomo streaming service. In addition to Louhimies, the series is written by Andrei Alén, Jari Rantala and Helena Immonen. In the first episode of the series, Hanko prepares for the midsummer celebration when unknown enemies take over Hankoniemi.

The Invasion

A Finnish military unit has just finished exercising when enemy soldiers invade the southernmost tip of Finland. The unidentified enemy sends a message to the newly elected Finnish President.

The enemy informs the government they intend to take over the occupied area. They take 10,000 citizens, residents and foreign visitors hostage. Any resistance will be met with a violent response.

The prime minister double-crosses the President.The President, still in sole charge of the military, gives a clandestine order to send reconnaissance teams to the occupied area.
