Aaron Jennings

Actor Aaron Jennings was a guest performer in both drama and comedy projects before earning a high-profile showcase as a series regular on the medical drama "Pure Genius" (CBS 2016). Born Aaron Taylor Jennings in Los Angeles, California, he was the son of prolific character actors Brent Jennings and Juanita Jennings, and attended the prestigious New Roads High School while also performing in local youth theater. After attending Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, Jennings made his earliest screen appearances in national television advertisements for Pizza Hut and Motorola, among others; his first television acting role came on Tyler Perry's syndicated sitcom "Meet the Browns"(2009-2012) in 2010. He worked largely in television in the years that followed, logging guest appearances on "Rizzoli and Isles" (TNT, 2010-16) and "Bones" (Fox, 2005-2017), while also earning his first feature film appearance in the Farrelly Brothers' pilloried anthology comedy "Movie 43" (2013) in a sequence featuring Terrence Howard. In 2016, Jennings landed his first role as a series regular on the medical drama "Pure Genius" (CBS 2016), playing a doctor working at a hospital funded by a philanthropic billionaire. The program proved short-lived, as the network failed to order more episodes after its freshman season run.
