The competition is at a melting point as the six surviving couples dance not once, but twice, pivoting, twisting and turning to keep the glitterball trophy in their sights. After performing their routine, all six couples compete on the dance floor at the same time in the Cha Cha Challenge to earn valuable extra marks from the judges.

Week 4

The 13 remaining couples hit the dance floor for a ballroom battle to stay in the show. Once the judges' scores have been added to viewer votes, the two lowest scoring couples will perform again in the dreaded dance-off in the results show.

With Tess and Claudia hosting and judges Len, Bruno, Darcey and Craig casting a critical eye over proceedings, 15 celebrities step onto the dance floor for the first time and find out who their pro-dance partner will be. Along with pairing the perfect partners, there will also be performances from Olly Murs and Rebecca Ferguson. The pros and celebrities will be dancing their very first routine together.

Week 9

Our seven remaining Strictly couples invite you to join them for a truly memorable show at the historic Blackpool Tower Ballroom as they battle it out on the world-famous dance floor. The show opens with a special Strictly performance from our pros and celebrities, inspired by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

Six celebrities take to the floor to perform their very first routines with their Strictly professional partner. Who will impress and who will flounder? Will there be disasters on the dance floor, or will some surprise us with a perfect performance? And of course, nerves will be jangling as the judges cast their critical eyes over the couples for the first time.

Week 1: Show 2

The remaining nine couples take to the dance floor for the first time in a bid to impress the judges. Who will surprise? Who will impress? And who will be worried that their stint on Strictly could be short-lived? No-one leaves this week as there is no public vote, but the judges' scores will be carried over to the following weekend when the viewers will be able to choose their favourites.
