Marc Thompson

In the lucrative and relatively anonymous realm of voiceover work for animation, Marc Thompson is a bona fide star. After struggling mightily in the 1990s as an on-screen actor, finding just the odd role here and there, Thompson has worked extensively as a voiceover actor since the turn of the new millennium. His credits read like a Who's Who of children's animated favorites, from the school-centric "Daria" to the action series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" to the adventure show "Pokémon." Thompson has, in fact, done a lot of work for the American cartoon knockoffs of famous Japanese character collections. In addition to playing Saturn through the years on "Pokémon," he has voiced the personages of Chazz Princeton on "Yu-Gi-Oh GX!," Atilla on "The Pokémon Chronicles," and Albert on "Fighting Foodons." He is also one of the very few cartoon voiceover kings to also be an ordained minister, in his case, with the New York chapter of the International Churches of Christ.
