After a pilgrimage to the Himalayas to scatter his dad's ashes and having two weeks without visions, Eli returns to work invigorated; Maggie suggests he take the case of a Mexican couple, but he resists until new visions persuade him.

Eli's latest visions transport him to a World War II battlefield and prompt him to take the case of a National Guard specialist suing her ex-husband, who is represented by Eli's fiancee, Taylor.
