Escape
A group of five engineers are stranded in the desert with the wreckage from a simulated plane crash. With only the wreckage at their hands they have to build some sort of improvised vehicle, such as an air-board, hovercraft or car, to escape the desert and return to civilisation. With every episode the team of four find themselves in a different terrain: desert, snow, jungle or on water. The team consists of an aerobatic pilot, a traditional craftsman, an aerospace engineer and two mechanical engineers. They must complete their task without access to a workshop and only using improvised tools, with food and water in short supply. The team are supervised by ex-SAS soldier Ant Middleton who provides insight into the physical and mental strains that they are enduring.
