Al and the team head out on a fishing expedition to catch the elusive broadbill swordfish. To accomplish this, they send baits down into the dark depths of some treacherous waters.

The crew begin their mission in suburban Sydney, where an offshore predator has unexpectedly moved into local waters. The crew patrol Sydney Harbour and uncover something lurking in the mangroves.

Al and the crew embark on a mission to help science unravel the secrets of the black marlin. Their journey takes them to Exmouth's remote waters, but things go terribly wrong.

Once abundant near the shore, catching yellowfin tuna now requires travelling miles out to sea. In an effort to learn more, Al and his crew team up with researchers to satellite tag them in southern waters.

After successfully tagging the first swordfish, the crew are asked to deploy another satellite tag. So, they head out to hook a true sea monster.

Al and the crew head to Exmouth to target the smallest of the billfish clan, the sailfish. Sailfish are crucial to marine research, so they team up with scientists, aim to satellite tag the fish, and capture underwater footage.
