Intruder

The killing of a burglar shatters a couple's perfect life. In a rage after confronting intruders in their home, Sam attacks one of the robbers with a knife.

Angela is determined to play games with Sam, using what she knows about the death of Syed as leverage. Bailey starts to pursue her suspicions surrounding the case but finds only a series of dead-ends.

Sam is falling apart, not least over what to do about Angela. Meanwhile, Bailey makes a breakthrough but hits a wall when she tries to escalate her findings. Rebecca remembers a trauma from her past and takes matters into her own hands.

Rebecca decides she and Sam must plan for a speedy escape should the police investigation heat up. Bailey is on the cusp of getting the "smoking gun" she needs, but the apathy of her bosses means she has to confront the evil alone.
