Park Ranger Russell Varon may have to revise his sceptical views when bizarre occurrences take place in his community. Especially when the sheriff tries to quarantine the town.

At the ranger station, Russell discovers a barely alive Air Force officer named Paxton - who's wearing a wet suit. He notices Paxton's wounds are identical to Dave's.

Russell must save Jesse after he is knocked out by a mysterious force while checking out a submerged mobile home. Larkin suspects that Underlay knows about a military cover-up.

Underlay might get the quarantine he requested when Russell discovers that escaped laboratory animals may be responsible for a deadly virus that has spread throughout Homestead.

Larkin becomes suspicious of an old boyfriend's motives when he invites her to visit his military base. Mariel worries that she hasn't been a good mother since the hurricane.

After finding a Cuban refugee who lost his family to 'the lights,' Russell goes fishing to catch one of the mysterious luminescent beings. Derek develops an interest in Mariel.
