Hawkins (Carl Lumbly) starts a weapons turn-in programme, only to have the weapons stolen by a band of pirates.

When young students begin terrorizing Port Columbia, the MANTIS must stop the group from continuing in an experimental drug program.

As the MANTIS becomes reacquainted with his former girlfriend, Miriam Basuto, he discovers she is the target of an international assassin.
