Timid veterinarian Yoon-seo's life is centred on her animal clinic, until she has a chance encounter with CEO Kang-hoon, who is her polar opposite.

After Kang-hoon fights his way out of a kidnapping, Yoon-seo finds him and reluctantly treats him at her clinic when he won't go to the hospital.

Kang-hoon wakes up in Yoon-seo's clinic. After calling PA Kang to pick him up, he leaves the sleeping Yoon-seo his card, but her cat has other ideas.

Kang-hoon's attraction to Yoon-seo hits another hurdle when he sees her feistier side, and misinterprets her bill for treating him at the clinic.

When an old rival gets under Yoon-seo's skin, she makes a rash decision about the clinic. A new business arrangement with Kang-hoon is on the table.

Yoon-seo opens her new practice, and Kang-hoon receives motherly orders about dating. Two very different lunches are turning points for Kang-hoon and Yoon-seo.
