Reeperbahn Special Unit 65

While politicians throughout Germany deny the existence of organised crime structures, signs begin to multiply in the early 1980s that organised crime takes hold in Hamburg's entertainment and red-light district of St Pauli.

Detective Wolfgang Sielaff and FD65 need solid evidence to arrest Wilfrid Schulz. Behind the scenes, other criminals are on the move: Banderne GmbH and Nutella are now fighting for power in St. Pauli.

The joy over Schulz's arrest doesn't last long, because it quickly becomes clear to the FD65 investigators that new gangs are trying to take over the Schulz legacy and secure complete power in St. Pauli.

But organised crime is like a hydra: cut off one head and new ones grow in its place. The Hells Angels and gangs such as the Streetboys are now taking control of Hamburg's streets, presenting Wolfgang Sielaff with new challenges.

The sex industry is plagued by AIDS, cocaine becomes Reeperbahn's new source of income, and FD65 arrests Werner Pinzner. During an interrogation, Pinzner kills the public prosecutor, his own wife Jutta, and himself.
