Robin's Nest

First of a new series, in which we follow the continuing adventures of Robin Tripp.

It's coming up to opening day at the bistro and Robin has problems with a stuffed bear, half a pig and a Public Health Inspector. When their first customer wants a dry sherry, Vicky has to get wet, while her father can't wait to try his hand as a waiter.

Robin is not keen to meet Vicky's mother, since he's heard she has a nasty habit of hitting you on the bridge of the nose with a cigarette case. The new dishwasher thinks he can cope single-handed, but Vicky is not so sure. Episode 3 is currently unavailable due to clearance issues.

Robin faces competition in business and in romance when his ex-girlfriend makes plans to open a steak restaurant next door.

Vicky's father decides that the restaurant needs some splashes of colour on the walls. Fortunately, he's romantically involved with a young female artist who can provide exactly what is needed. Robin and Vicky are not so sure.

A counterfeit ten pound note finds its way into the restaurant cash-till. Robin has to attend a police identification parade where he picks out the wrong man. And begins to worry about an underworld vendetta...
