The Bureau of Magical Things

Kyra becomes embroiled in a magical tug-of-war between a disobedient elf and a meticulous fairy. In doing so, she discovers a strange and magical world that exists all around her in secret.

Kyra joins Maxwell's school when she realises she can't control her magic. She immediately feels like an outsider, but she is forced to interact with everyone when the class is assigned a magical problem to solve.

Kyra's friend, Peter, witnesses her doing magic, but a spell to erase his mind goes wrong. Suddenly believing he's Shakespeare's Romeo, Kyra and Lily try to find a way to reverse it.

The postman is turned into a dog when Lily and Imogen's assignment goes wrong. The dog goes missing and Kyra needs the dog whisper to find him.

A suit of armour escapes in the midst of Ruksy giving a tour around the magical museum. Kyra wants to assist in getting the armour back, but Imogen feels she won't be able to help.

Kyra and her class are tested on how well they manage magical outbreaks. Surprisingly, Agent Orla observes the assessments, and Kyra feels she must prove herself.
