Written by David Earl & Joe Wilkinson, `The Cockfields' stars Joe Wilkinson as Simon, who is taking girlfriend Donna, played by Diane Morgan, back home to the Isle of Wight for what they hope will be a relaxing short summer break during their engagement, but it will be far from smooth sailing with annoyances and interruptions from Simon's Alan Titchmarsh-obsessed stepbrother David, and the Cockfields' oddball handyman neighbour Andre. On top of all of that, his own family brings trouble with Simon's father Larry and his new American girlfriend Melissa bringing with them buckets of tension.
