After getting fired for coming out as trans at work and having to move out of her apartment, Sü has to start all over again. She calls her ex Chris for help, who agrees she can stay at her place for a while.

Sü tries to get a bank loan, but instead she finds a date with Russell, the cute bank manager. Zoey keeps following Chris around to find out what she and Antonia are up to. Meanwhile, Chris is getting fed up with Antonia's transphobic remarks.

When Zoey gets bullied at school, she turns to Chris for help. Meanwhile, Sü is earning some extra cash as a text-dominatrix. But when she finds out her boss Nate is her biggest client, she has to make sure she doesn't lose her day job.

Sü talks Zoe into joining a game called Doomball, an all-female contact sport. During their first big game, Antonia and Chris try to target one of the players as part of their mission to take out the CEO of an oil company.

Sü arranges a double date and fixes Chris up with the mysterious Isabelle from last week's Doomball match. But when the waiter presents the bill at the end of the evening, Chris and Isabelle get into a huge fight.

Sü and Phil both go through medical assessment for surgery - but the gatekeeper is rigorously gender-normative and Russell is anything but supportive. Zoey and Barbara clash over Barbara's fear of losing custody versus Zoey's desire to transition. Toni finally comes out as transitioning to male, and Chris learns to relate to another human being.
