Veneno da Madrugada and Noivo da Vida grow up as brothers, who are trained in capoeira by Master Vendaval. They are separated when their master is killed in a police raid. Noivo runs away, tormented by guilt, while Veneno remains to protect the community and does not forgive his friend for abandoning him. Years later, Veneno is working in a nightclub, when he is drawn into the dangerous world of underground fights, while Noivo returns, guided by tragic premonitions. At the center of the visions is Ventania, the daughter of their murdered master. She is determined to fight, even without knowing who her true enemy is. Between the tradition of capoeira circles and the violence in the rings of blood, the past resurfaces as the legacy of two old friends survives.
