Aoto, a teenage water user, is convinced by his friends Midori and Akane to join an elite academy. Together with the World Council and their mysterious leader, they search for the Divine Gate to uncover the truth of their world.

Arthur asks the Knights of Rounds and a few from the Academy to join him in finding the Divine Gate.
