When Jaden and the crew wander into an abandoned dorm, they meet a duelist, who claims he's taken Alexis to the Shadow Realm, and unless Jaden duels him, he'll keep her there.

The duel between Jaden and Titan continues, with Jaden losing badly to Titan's demon monsters. Jaden discovers that the shadow game is fake when he hears Winged Kuriboh speak to him. Titan runs away. They continue the fight, Titan is swallowed by darkness and Alexis wakes up with a picture of her brother.
