Born to a poor family, Zeynep is given to her wealthy boss, Nermin, for a better education. Years later, as a law student, she prepares to marry Faruk and move to London. However, her birth mother, Sakine, guilt-trips her into abandoning her plans and returning to her old neighborhood. Sakine arranges a marriage with Mehdi, a mechanic and her deceased brother’s friend. Zeynep marries Mehdi to find her roots, but their marriage is marked by severe conflict and family drama. After becoming a lawyer, Zeynep lands a job at a top firm under a demanding boss, Barış. Mehdi’s intense jealousy leads him to lock her inside the house, prompting a quick divorce. Mehdi's path spirals down into tragedy and crime, ultimately landing him in jail after attempting to kidnap Zeynep.
