A ghost ship carrying a deadly virus runs aground on Sløborn in the North Sea, but the islanders remain unaware of the danger.

The situation escalates when Evelin fails to abort her unborn child; the boys who discovered and looted the ghost ship spread the virus all over the island without knowing it.
