Miko Kuroba, a mystery writer, meets Toru Morino, a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Division 1, at a sauna facility; the corpse of Wataru Takeuchi, a member of an anti-social organization, is discovered.

Morino heads to the scene of a crime but, afraid of entering the restricted area, he runs into a karaoke box, where he encounters Miko; in a separate room of the karaoke room, a popular influencer is planning something.
