Happy Tears

Jayne (Parker Posey) and Laura (Demi Moore) are two sisters who need to return home to help with their crude but endearing father Joe (Rip Torn) deal with the beginning stages of Alzheimers. When they return to their childhood home to help their father, they face difficult, often comic situations. The two daughters argue back and forth over whose job it is to take care of Daddy, and since they both have completely different personalities, they argue over everything from the past as well. It doesnt help that Daddy has a live in stripper/druggie named Shelly (Ellen Barkin) hanging around, and that hes convinced theres buried treasure in the backyard Featuring an all-star A-list Hollywood cast Demi Moore (Indecent Proposal, Ghost); Parker Posey (For Your Consideration, Superman Returns, The Eye); Rip Torn (Dodgeball, Larry Sanders Show, Men In Black) and Ellen Barkin (Brooklyns Finest Oceans Thirteen, Sea Of Love).
