Jiang Yun Fan (Elvis Han), the adopted son of a stockade chief, discovers he possesses superhuman powers when confronting demon animals. Mentored by Long You (Joe Cheng), a Mount Shu disciple, Yun Fan saves Tang Yu Rou (Gülnezer Bextiyar), a healer from the Four Families, with whom he falls in love. Caught between his demonic heritage and his newfound love, Yun Fan faces an impossible choice: free his father from the Blood Jade or save Yu Rou's life. This 2016 Chinese drama series is based on the RPG game "Chinese Paladin 5: The Legend of Sword and Fairy 5."
