Connecting to You

Lin Chia Kai (Chiu Yi Tai) has a mysterious ability: he can see how people are connected to each other, with differently colored threads representing different emotional bonds. Most people have multiple threads, but Chia Kai has never seen a single thread connecting himself to anyone else – until a chance encounter with police officer Wu Da Wei (Liu Yu Ren) leaves a silvery-gray thread linking the two of them. Determined not to lose this rare connection, Chia Kai takes a part-time job at the police station so he can stay closer to Da Wei, using his ability to assist with investigations and locate missing people. As he and Da Wei spend more time together, the thread between them begins to change color, eventually turning red: an unmistakable sign of love.
