Sui Kishida (Tsubasa Nakagawa) has mastered the art of blending into the background. To survive the pressures of his boys’ dormitory, he hides behind a mask of indifference, playing the role of the easygoing classmate who laughs off every jab. Having learned to keep people at arm’s length, Sui is content with his solitary existence – until Harutora Kurobe (Masaya Sakuragi) arrives. As an incoming freshman, Harutora is everything Sui is not: earnest, transparent, and completely unafraid to bridge the gap between them. When the two are unexpectedly thrust together as roommates, Harutora’s relentless warmth begins to chip away at the walls Sui has carefully constructed. As the physical distance in their shared room vanishes, the emotional barriers between them begin to crumble as well. This drama was based on the manga of the same name by Amekiri.
