As Park Min Seok (Kim Min Ho) inches closer to a long-awaited promotion to corporal, his path becomes increasingly turbulent. The unit is thrown into further disarray by the arrival of unpredictable new recruits: incompetent rookie Moon Bit Na Ri (Kim Yo Han) and famous actor Jeon Se Gye (Kim Dong Jun). Amidst harsh winter training, fierce competitions for vacation time, and the constant friction of barrack life, the soldiers must navigate high-stakes disciplinary challenges and evolving internal dynamics. Making things worse still is the unsettling return of Sung Yoon Mo (Kim Hyun Kyu), a nemesis from the past who still holds a grudge. Can the squad balance their need to succeed with their struggle to survive? This is the third season of the "New Recruit" series, adapted from the web animation of the same name by Jang Bbi Ju.
