School Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close to

As Asahi Hioki (Kodai Fujimoto) starts his second year of high school, he finds himself alone in a new homeroom class, separated from the rest of his close friends. When it's time to choose groups for the school's upcoming trip, he doesn't have anyone to turn to, but is unexpectedly invited into a group by a classmate Asahi went to junior high school with. Asahi ends up amongst the school's four most popular boys, much to his confusion, as he isn't used to receiving much attention from others. Even more confusing is the increased attention from Tsukasa Watarai (Hideyoshi Kan), one of the four, who seems to take a particular interest in Asahi. Without realizing it, Asahi grows closer to Tsukasa – and he doesn't know what to do with his developing feelings. This drama was adapted from the novel of the same name by Uzura Kakuregi.
