The pool and locker rooms on the second floor have opened up and Monokuma allows the students a few days to explore. They are given 24 hours to kill someone, or he'll broadcast their most sinister or embarrassing secrets.

Togami insists that the perpetrator must be a depraved serial killer, but his motives are questionable. Tensions begin to rise, as some of the students darkest secrets are revealed.

Asahina discovers ALTER EGO, an AI created by Fujisaki. Both Ishimaru and Yamada are taken with the program, but neither boy is keen to share.
