Ashley is determined to become Degrassi's next student council president, but when her stepbrother Toby learns that she is running unopposed he convinces his friend J.T. to run against her. Meanwhile, Emma and Manny deal with Spinner's bullying.

Terri doesn't want to go to the first nighttime dance because she thinks she's too fat to be found attractive. However, Spinner likes her, but Paige gets Terri drunk so she can take Spinner herself. J.T. and Toby decide to look at porn instead.

Parents' Day is only a few days away, but Toby is worried that his divorced parents will have a fight in public so tries to convince them that it has been called off. Ashley and Paige learn that Toby's mum happens to be a casting agent.

Jimmy and Ashley's eight month anniversary comes up, but Ashley is worried about Paige playing Juliet with Jimmy as Romeo and contemplates having sex with him to keep him interested. Meanwhile, Toby attempts to get closer to Emma.
