Doc Martin stars Martin Clunes as a London surgeon who’s career comes crashing down around him when he develops a phobia, which prevents him from performing operations. No longer able to cope with the sight of blood, he retreats to the sleepy Cornish hamlet of Portwenn to fill the vacancy there for a local GP.
