Al and the team head on a fishing expedition to catch the elusive broadbill swordfish. To accomplish this, they send baits down into the dark depths of some treacherous waters.

The mission starts right in the team's backyard where an offshore predator has moved up into suburban Sydney and they adapt in ways not seen before.

The black marlin is one of the biggest bony fish in the world, yet very little is known about it. So, the team head out in an effort to gain more knowledge.

Once abundant near the shore, catching yellowfin tuna now requires travelling miles out to sea. In an effort to learn more, the crew team up with researchers to satellite tag them in southern waters.

After the successful tagging the first swordfish the crew are asked to deploy another satellite tag so they head out only to hook a true sea monster.

Al and the crew head to Exmouth targeting the smallest of the billfish clan, the sailfish. Spectacular and beautiful, sailfish are one of the most popular billfish around the word making it all the more important.
