Follows Macross 7, a spacecraft that leads the 37th colonial fleet on a mission in deep space and focuses on the fleet's encounters with an alien force called the Protodeviln.

Mayor Milia, Mylene's mother, decides that she will support Mylene's band activities if she accepts to go on a blind date, however her future date conducts an investigation when he meets Fire Bomber.
