In 2067, an adventure unfolds with the Protocultural legacy of the Tactical Sound Unit, Walküre, and the Valkyrie fighter squadron, Delta Flight, who attempt to pacify the Var Syndrome, in which humans lose their reason and become ferocious.
EPISODE 1
Battlefield Prologue
Hayate, a young part-time worker at the port of the planet Al Shahal, encounters Freyja, a girl who has hidden away in a container. She has travelled from her home planet to audition for the Tactical Sound Unit Walküre.
EPISODE 2
Resolute Audition
Delta Flight and Walküre quell the riot, forcing the attackers to withdraw from Al Shahal; Freyja travels with Hayate to planet Ragna for the Walküre audition but learns she is ineligible without qualifying. She begs Mirage for a chance to audition.
EPISODE 3
Whirlwind Dogfight
Mirage, opposing Hayate's enlistment in Delta Flight, is assigned as his instructor. Hayate ignores her, skipping training except for practical flying lessons to chase Ragna's mercats. Frustrated, Mirage focuses on teaching him flying skills.
EPISODE 4
A Shocking Debut Stage
Before her debut as a Walküre at a vaccine concert on Randall, Freyja was restless. Just before the performance, Mikumo asked her what feeling she sings with. Freyja made up her mind to sing as a Walküre.
EPISODE 5
Moonlight Dancing
The Aerial Knights, who wield the Var with the legendary Singer of the Wind, swiftly brought down two stars; despite suspicions that Freyja is a spy, she maintains a determined and cheerful facade so those around her see through it.
EPISODE 6
Decision Overload
Xaos and the New U.N. Spacy lose ground to manipulated soldiers infected by Vár; Messer scolds Hayate, who targets only the wings of enemy aircraft instead of the cockpit and warns him that such naive tactics will lead to his demise.
