Four couples from different social and cultural backgrounds begin their first year of marriage. They all must deal with the many trials and tribulations that comes with a life of wedded bliss.

Blair begins planning a commitment ceremony; Kim doesn't want to live in Alaska's bachelor pad with his sister and nephew; Tina and Tarz get matching tattoos; and Kathryn is bored as a housewife.

Pregnancy test results are revealed for Kathryn and Tina; Blair and Jeff argue; Kim turns to her father for advice on compromising; the couples celebrate Valentine's Day.

John considers letting Kathryn run his newly acquired tanning salon; Alaska puts his foot down; Tina gets frustrated with Tarz; it's Blair and Jeff's commitment ceremony.
