Ace follows a voice and stumbles across an egg with a star shape on it; Lance attempts to stop a monster attacking the city.

Lance fights the Chaos Devil Dragon, but has a difficult time due to SDF's intervention; the special egg speaks to Ace, and Ace is able to create more Drops for Lance, leading to victory.

The SDF capture Tamazo, the special egg that hatched; Charo and Ace sneak inside the SDF base, in order to rescue him.

Tamazo, Ace and Charo arrive safely on Dragoza Island; Ace visits his grandmother and receives a D-Gear; Ace heads into the woods to try it out.

Obtaining D-Gear and his first monster, Ouka, Ace wants to take the next step: getting his hands on a Soul Armor; Donny tells them that he can find one at the Sacred Temple, but warns that everyone who has set foot there have never returned.

Ace welcomes another monster, taking a step forward on his path to becoming a strong dragon caller; when he goes to stop a Drop Impact himself he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
