High school sophomore and hardcore skater Reki introduces transfer student Langa to a secret, no-holds-barred race down an abandoned mine.

Winning the beef against Shadow, Langa turns out to be experienced in snowboarding. He gains attention as the mysterious rookie in the S community.

As Langa quickly improves, MIYA the 7th grader and candidate for the Japanese national team challenges him. Langa accepts despite Reki's worries.

ADAM, legendary skater and creator of S, appears in front of Langa after his victory over MIYA. Reki challenges ADAM when he insults MIYA.

After Reki suffers heavy injuries, Langa goes up against ADAM. Reki and Langa seek out Cherry blossom and JOE to hear more stories about ADAM.

Reki's injuries have yet to heal, and the group head to Miyakojima for some hot spring therapy. They bump into Cherry blossom and JOE there.
