Mitsumi goes to her high school entrance ceremony but ends up getting lost amid the Tokyo morning rush. She meets Shima, a fellow schoolmate, and he accompanies her.

Shima and his friends invite Mitsumi to enjoy some karaoke. Mika warns Mitsumi to be wary of Shima's kindness.

The shy and skeptical Kurume finds herself oddly comfortable in Mitsumi's company. They start getting along well and a beautiful friendship develops between them.

Kanechika gets Mitsumi's help to get Shima to join the drama club. Shima and Mitsumi talk about their respective goals in life and promise to support each other.

Mitsumi joins the volleyball team for an upcoming competition. She takes Mika's help to train, but finds it hard when Mika is strict from the get-go.

Fumi falls in love.
