Suspicious Partner

Judicial apprentice Sakura has an awkward first meeting with prosecutor Haruto. Their paths cross again during a fight with Sakura's boyfriend, leading to an unexpected night out.

Sakura is arrested on suspicion of murdering her ex-boyfriend; Haruto is assigned as the prosecutor for the case and pressures Sakura, who has no alibi, to confess.

Haruto decides to go his separate way as Sakura desperately uses her only clue to search for the real killer. She runs her own law office but struggles to find decent clients.

Sakura, trying to forget her feelings for Haruto, returns home to find her office broken into, possibly by the real killer. Concerned for her safety, Haruto hurries over and convinces Sakura to stay at his place.

Sakura poses as Haruto's new girlfriend when his ex-girlfriend Sakiko unexpectedly arrives, causing conflict.

Sakura, Ren, Shinjo, and Yoneda join Haruto's law office. A client requests Sakura as his representative, but Haruto hesitates due to lack of alibi.
