Yuru's peaceful life with his twin sister Asa is torn apart when a dragon's roar echoes across the sky.

Guided by Dera, Yuru flees from his pursuers and awakens the guardian deities of the village.

Knowing the attackers are after him, an unnerved Yuru escapes the village with Dera and meets up with Hana, a fellow daemon retainer.
