Geraint Wyn Davies

Although Geraint Wyn Davies has had an impressive stage career since the mid-'70s, he is perhaps better known to TV audiences for his role as vampire-turned-police detective Nick Knight on the drama "Forever Knight." The Welsh-born Davies immigrated with his family to Canada at the age of seven where he took an early and active interest in stage performing. After a short stint with a Quebec-based theater company, he relocated to London where his stage career blossomed. Joining the British Actors Theatre Company, Davies also earned parts in various Shakespeare plays with famed Welsh company Theatre Clywd. By the early 1990s, he was also earning steady work as a TV actor, twice appearing in vampire roles on the shows "Dracula: The Series" and "Forever Knight." Davies continued to split his time between stage and screen in the 2000s with guest roles on action-adventure series such as "24" (where he played a key antagonist during the show's fifth season) and lead roles at the prestigious Stratford and Shaw theatre festivals. He spoofed the petty infighting familiar to such festivals in the second season of the behind-the-scenes comedy "Slings and Arrows," a Canadian show set at a lightly fictionalized version of Ontario's Stratford Festival; he played the vain lead actor Henry Breedlove, brought into the troupe to play the title role in "MacBeth."
