After a tragic plane crash claims the lives of his family, insurance investigator Choi Kang-woo is left devastated. The case is officially closed as a suicide mission by the co-pilot to secure insurance money for his younger brother. Refusing to accept the verdict, Kang-woo resigns to form 'Mad Dog,' a private investigation team dedicated to exposing insurance fraud by any means necessary—earning them a reputation as the 'mad dogs' of the industry. Meanwhile, Kim Min-joon, the co-pilot’s brother, remains convinced of his brother's innocence. His quest for the truth eventually leads him to join forces with Kang-woo and the Mad Dog team to uncover the dark conspiracy behind the crash.
