M2, T12: Nova (Rutina Wesley) and Robert's (Alimi Ballard) relationship takes an unexpected turn during an on-air interview, which leaves Nova feeling disrespected. Darla (Bianca Lawson) and Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) have different visions of their wedding, which is impacted by Darla's relationship with her parents. Though Ralph Angel and Violet (Tina Lifford) encourage Darla to change her mind, Ralph Angel hits a financial setback upon learning the farm did not profit. Meanwhile, Davis (Timon Durrett) visits a doctor about his hand, and he's alarmed by the prognosis. He later encounters Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), whose plans for her harvest festival have been disrupted. With Davis' encouragement, she turns things around. Charley later discovers Davis' new relationship, and in turn Davis realizes she's moved on with Remy (Dondré T. Whitfield). Finally, Davis offers Charley a sincere apology.
