Bruce Cowling

Bruce Cowling was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Cowling began his career with roles in the mystery "Song of the Thin Man" (1947) with William Powell, "Ambush" (1949) and "The Stratton Story" (1949) with James Stewart. Cowling began to focus on film after appearing in the Hedy Lamarr drama "A Lady Without Passport" (1950), "Battleground" (1950) and "Devil's Doorway" (1950). He also appeared in "Cause For Alarm" (1951), the Lassie adventure "The Painted Hills" (1951) and the John Lund western "The Battle at Apache Pass" (1952). Later in his career, Cowling acted in the adaptation "To Hell and Back" (1955) with Audie Murphy.
