Rio Hackford

Rio Hackford's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Hackford appeared in such films as "Bound By Honor" (1993), the Dana Delany comedy adaptation "Exit to Eden" (1994) and the action picture "Double Dragon" (1994) with Robert Patrick. He also appeared in "Safe" (1995) and "Strange Days" (1995). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the dramatic comedy "Scotch and Milk" (1998) with Adam Goldberg, the horror film "Stay Alive" (2006) with Jon Foster and the drama "Sherrybaby" (2006) with Maggie Gyllenhaal. In his more recent career, he continued to act in the Josh Brolin western "Jonah Hex" (2010), the Helen Mirren drama "Love Ranch" (2010) and the Jason Statham suspenseful adaptation "Parker" (2013). He also appeared in "Trumbo" (2015) with Bryan Cranston. He held additional roles in television including a part on "True Detective" (HBO, 2013-15). Most recently, Hackford acted in the Josh Duhamel thriller "Misconduct" (2016). Rio Hackford died on April 14, 2022 in Huntington Beach, CA at the age of 51.
