Brothers on the Run

Brothers John and Eric Jackson plan their epic journey across the Americas. Being pro snowboarders and starting their trip in Alaska, it only makes sense that they should kick the trip off with some bluebird heli-riding with Travis Rice.

Reaching the end of the highway in Homer doesn't stop the crew, who take a boat out to surf some icy waves with Ian Walsh. Then it's off to the wet and wild Slush Cup before four days of mountaineering and shredding on Pika Glacier with Pat Moore.

The guys make it to Nelson to meet up with some friends of Craig Kelly, the snowboard legend who made the same trip before his death. Then it's off to shred Dante's Peak, see their hometown, get their passports dialed, and head into Mexico.

The crew rolls into Pasquales for a heavy surf session with Bruce Irons before starting the next big leg of the journey. Despite several setbacks, the vibes are good, but upon arriving in El Salvador, the guys realize they are way behind schedule.

The brothers arrive in Nicaragua, where they find some beautiful surf and hang out at Casa Betesda Orphanage. After helping paint rooms and school the groms with some skate tips, they jump on a flight to Chile to shred some ridiculous snow.

A moment of miscalculation in Chile winds up sending both John and Eric to the hospital and puts the rest of the journey in peril. Ian Walsh stays behind to surf a big swell while he awaits word from the brothers on whether or not they can continue.
